Today we have lost a true hero of the human spirit, Robin Williams was an inspiration for many of us. The question now arises as to why such an inspiration to others suffered from depression himself, which ultimately resulted in a deep depression in which he took his own life.
The questions we may ask have no simple answers, but most importantly we should take this moment to ask ourselves … “What words and ideas are we saying to ourselves that either motivates or demotivates us?” What we say to the world means something but the two most important thoughts we can think are … “What do you think about when you think about God?” and “What do you think about when you think about yourself?”
Truthfully answered these questions bring us closer to our own vulnerability and help us to make transforming choices in our lives. These questions and the choices we make enable us to move closer to our ultimate purpose of serving others.
Allow yourself to be a little more vulnerable and ask questions of yourself, have empathy for others; not only will this empathy motivate others but it will ultimately inspire you to love yourself and the world around you.
When you feeling down please share this with someone, as talking is the way of making yourself vulnerable. Someone out there needs YOU and your YOUnique gifts as much as you need their gifts. Be the friend that others need.
Have a wonderful day and may Robin Williams RIP
RIP, he was great.

Feeling down for most people is an ‘off’ day. Depression is so much deeper.
Yes, be vulnerable and let someone in close enough to say what lies behind your laughter.
I speak loudly and with conviction and while my depression is not a secret, there is less than a handful who will truly reach out.
Cold, but true. Vulnerability makes others uncomfortable and judge what they don’t understand.
See you on the 18th. X
